Motivation (Part 3): Building Momentum

Momentum builds with every step you take. Start small, but keep moving.

🌀 Have you ever noticed how the hardest part of any task is just getting started? Once you begin, what seemed daunting becomes a little bit more manageable, and gradually, as more of it gets done, you might even get a sense of relief. What seemed so difficult to even wrap your mind around suddenly becomes doable. This is the power of momentum — the force that keeps you going after the initial push.

🔄 Consistent small actions not only build skills but also create a rhythm that makes effort feel easier over time. And, if you’re lucky, you might even get into “flow”. This occurs when you are so engaged in an activity that everything else seems to disappear. It's the sweet spot where productivity meets satisfaction.

🏁 So, let's turn our potential energy into kinetic energy! Commit to your first small action of something you might have been putting off, and then keep the momentum going by adding a little more each day / week / or whatever time increment is best for you. After all, wouldn’t that be better than continuing to procrastinate and putting things off because they seem more and more daunting with every passing moment?
